Initiation and Membership Reinstatement Fee

The initiation fee for new members is $10. If a member requests to withdraw or fails to submit renewal dues, a separate $10 fee will be assessed for reinstatement if more than two years has passed since the date of the member's request to withdraw, or, if more than two years has passed since the last non-payment of the January 1 membership renewal dues.

Financial Assistance for Attending National Convention

Either the National Director or the Alternate National Director or the Designee for the aforementioned will receive a disbursement from the club’s treasury for the purpose of their attendance at the Annual Business Meeting at the FMCA National Convention and carrying out their duties as Delegate of the Tiffin Travelers. The amount of the disbursement will be determined by the Convention’s location relative to the U.S. Time Zones.

  • Eastern Time Zone Convention equals $100.
  • Central Time Zone Convention equals $200.
  • Mountain Time Zone Convention equals $300.
  • Pacific Time Zone Convention equals $400.

Rally Related Charitable Donations:

A Standing Rule to task rally hosts to identify a single organization in or nearby the community of the rally site for the purpose of the Club Treasury issuing a charitable donation in the amount of $200.

For the intended purpose of keeping the donation contained within the rally’s community as much as possible, the approved list of potential recipients is limited to:

    • the local Food Bank; or,
    • the local Pet Rescue or Humane Society; or,
    • the local or community Hospice; or,
    • the nearest USO or Military or Veterans’ aid group; or,
    • the local Women’s or Children’s Shelter or related aid group.

This rule will stand until modified by member vote, or until such time as the Treasury Balance is reduced to $4,000.

Chapter Subsidy of Catered Meals at Chapter Rallies:

A Standing Rule for the purpose of encouraging member attendance at rallies, mitigating rally expense for member attendees, and sharing the benefit to the full membership as reasonably as possible, the expenditure of $400 toward a catered meal is authorized for chapter members at chapter rallies attended by twenty-five (25) or more chapter member coaches.

This will stand until modified by member vote or until such time as the treasury balance is reduced to $4,000.

Chapter Subsidy of FMCA National and FMCA Area Socials:

A Standing Rule for the occasions when currently serving club officers and members are in attendance at FMCA National Conventions or FMCA Area rallies and they see a reasonable opportunity to spark new member enrollments via a "Meet and Greet" informative social, said officers may organize and host a bring-you-own-beverage social and offer food snacks to the attendees. To purchase the light snacks, officers are authorized to spend an amount not to exceed $350 at an FMCA National Convention or an amount not to exceed $200 at an FMCA Area rally.

This will stand until modified by member vote or until such time as the treasury balance is reduced to $4,000.

Chapter Subsidy of Portion of Rally Fee for Members at a Chapter Rally:

For chapter rallies (not gatherings) any member coach attending that rally will have a portion of their rally fee paid by the chapter. That portion will be a maximum of $5 per member in a two-member coach. This rally fee credit for members only will be a maximum of $10 per coach per rally. The offer will extend until such time as the chapter’s treasury balance drops below $4,000, thus prompting a review of finances and possible revision of the Rule.
